I tell the truth
I tell a lie
I tell the truth
I tell a lie
my face is not symmetrical, by any measure
my heart beats irregular
I say words to pages, to feel heard
for I am always loud
my heart is like the yoke of an egg
in its seamless hard sack
I do not actually listen to you
for I cannot hear you from there
I require love conditional
I can’t bare a thing unconditional
I require you be my means
I will never understand otherwise
you see arrogance
I am sure you’re mistaken
you see diligence
I am sure to be blind
your face turns from me
in my hours of need
your grace abounds
you’re faithful..
I am faithful..
you tell the truth.
